Privacy
HyBlue, Inc. ("HyBlue") has created this privacy statement ("Statement") to demonstrate
our commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of our customers' data and any
data collected from visitors to our site. Your privacy is of great importance to
us. Fundamentally, we take this confidentiality issue seriously and seek to provide
fair and secure systems for the appropriate handling of private information. All
such activities at HyBlue are additionally intended to be consistent with both commonly
accepted privacy ethics and standard business practices.
Because we gather important information from our customers, we have established
this Statement as a means to communicate our information gathering and dissemination
practices. We also gather a limited amount of information to serve the needs of
visitors to the site. We reserve the right to change this Statement after posting
a notice of the change on our corporate web site -
www.HyBlue.com - for at least thirty (30) business days.
Collected Information
We require customers who register to use HyBlue services ("Services")
to give us contact information, such as their name, company name, address, phone
number, and e-mail address, and financial qualification and billing information,
such as billing name and address and credit card number. We may also ask for additional
personal information, such as title, department name, fax number, or additional
company information, such as annual revenues, number of employees, or industry.
Customers can opt out of providing this additional information by not entering it
when asked. Customers can update or remove their personal information at any time
by logging into the web site and editing their Personal Information. Customers can
view their updated profile to confirm their edits have been made.
HyBlue uses the information that we collect to set up Services
for individuals and their organizations. We may also use the information to contact
customers to further discuss customer interest in our company, the Services that
we provide, and to send information regarding our company or partners, such as promotions
and events. Customers may be invited to receive an email newsletter by providing
an email address. Customer email addresses and any personal customer information
will not be distributed or shared with any third parties. Customers can opt out
of being contacted by us, or receiving such information from us, at any time by
sending an email to Support@HyBlue.com. Separately, customers are also asked to
provide an email address when registering for the Service, in order to receive a
data from HyBlue. We may also email information regarding updates to the Service
or company, and will send a Customer Newsletter.
Except as we explicitly state at the time we request information, or as provided
for in the HyBlue Terms of Service, we do not disclose to any third-party the information
provided. All financial and billing information that we collect through the Site
is used solely to check the qualifications of prospective customers and to bill
for Services. This billing information is not used by HyBlue for marketing or promotional
purposes. HyBlue uses a third-party intermediary to manage credit card processing.
This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain, and is not permitted
to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of
credit card processing. Other third parties, such as content providers, may provide
content on the web site but they are not permitted to collect any information nor
does HyBlue share any user information with these parties.
Users of HyBlue will be accessing the HyBlue Portal via a web-based browser to view
data and information ("Data") that is specific to their particular distributed computing
environment. Data is defined as any information, descriptions, facts, statistics,
measurements, reports, details and the like collected by HyBlue about the customer's
network, databases, applications or other information systems resources.
HyBlue will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except
as provided in the HyBlue Terms of Service or as may be required by law. Individual
records may at times be viewed or accessed by authorized HyBlue employees or appropriate
third parties only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected
violation of the Terms of Service, or as may be required by law.
HyBlue shall also have the royalty-free right to gather, compile, use and distribute
comparative data sets, statistical analyses, reports and related solutions utilizing
aggregated data derived from Data obtained from Customer, other HyBlue customers
and other sources as a solution to its customers and future customers and in the
development of products and solutions, provided, however, that in no event shall
the data distributed to third parties allow the identification of an individual
person or customer.
Security
Our Customer Portal has security measures in place to help protect
against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Data under our control. The HyBlue
Software Sensor uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for all communications
between the Customer network and the HyBlue data center. The HyBlue data center
uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access
from intruders.
HyBlue maintains high levels of physical security at its data center, including
limited authorized access to areas of the facility where customer data is viewed,
processed and maintained. Finally, HyBlue provides you with unique user names and
passwords that must be entered each time you log on. These safeguards help prevent
unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of your
Data.
HyBlue takes reasonable precautions when handling data to ensure
its quality and integrity. Visitor data is kept in order to service requests. Data
is kept in a locked secure area behind a firewall to protect it from unauthorized
access.
Third Party Sites
The HyBlue corporate web site may contain links to other web sites.
HyBlue is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other
web sites. Users and visitors will need to check the policy statement of these other
web sites to understand their policies. Users who respond on a linked site may be
sharing their private information. It is the responsibility of the user to keep
such information private and confidential.
