HyBlue Guarantee
Pre Failure Alerts
HyBlue Windows Monitor, Patch and Secure are built with technology that gives in depth information about the operation, performance and security of Windows computers and the software that runs on them. HyBlue also includes special software to monitor the health of the hard drives.
How Does it Work?
HyBlue's Sensor interrogates the S.M.A.R.T. technology on a recurring basis. S.M.A.R.T. technology tests for specific patterns that are early indicators of failure. If such an indicator is found, an alert is sent to the technician. In addition, Windows and other applications monitor for specific behaviors that are early indicators of drive failure. HyBlue's Windows services capture that data and automatically alerts the technician. Armed with this information, giving the technician an opportunity to backup data and replace the drive before it fails!
The Guarantee
Any computer running Windows Monitor, Patch or Secure for at least 30 days is automatically covered by this guarantee. We guarantee to provide an alert at least 48 hours before a drive fails when running in a non RAID environment. The specific alerts are detailed below. If HyBlue fails to deliver an alert more than 48 hours before a drive fails, we will pay our customer $100.
If a computer is running a RAID array, HyBlue guarantees to alert on the degradation of the RAID array caused by a failing or failed drive. That is, we will alert you before the customer cannot access their data.
The Fine Print
To qualify for this guarantee the following must all be true
- The data on the hard drive is not accessible by Windows
- There is no physical damage to the hard drive
- If the drive is in a RAID array, the RAID array must fail because of the inability to access data from this drive
- The computer has Windows Monitor, Patch or Secure installed at least 30 days before failure
- Our customer must be current on his non disputed payments to HyBlue
- The failed drive must be returned to HyBlue unless it is part of a RAID array

Or any other alert that clearly indicates that a hard drive is failing either in the message. HyBlue is continuously monitoring alerts and adds them to our system as new equipment or services come online. Our goal is to ensure your customer has continuous access to their data.
